Scope and Article Types

  • Original Articles: Full-length research papers reporting new data in clinical gastroenterology, hepatology, liver disease, gastrointestinal oncology, and related fields.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews summarizing and analyzing current knowledge.
  • Case Reports: Reports describing rare, novel, or educational cases in clinical practice.
  • Short Communications: Concise reports of preliminary, innovative, or high-impact findings.
  • Letters to the Editor: Brief discussions of published articles or clinical observations.
  • Editorials: Invited opinion pieces on emerging issues (max 1,500 words).

Submission & Manuscript Preparation

  • Formatting: Double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, with page and line numbers.
  • Structure: Title Page, Abstract (250 words max), Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References, Tables, Figures, Legends.
  • References: Vancouver style; include DOI where available.
  • Figures & Tables: Provided as high-resolution separate files; editable tables (not images).
  • Supplementary Files: Clearly labeled datasets, appendices, or multimedia.
  • Submission Portal: Upload via the online submission portal.

Ethics and Integrity

  • Research Ethics: Ethical approval is required for human and animal studies. Informed consent and adherence to the Declaration of Helsinki are mandatory.
  • Authorship: Only contributors who meet ICMJE authorship criteria should be listed.
